If you want to see all of an A5 card then the acrylic fronted stand is your best option, featuring a 20mm clear acrylic front stopper you be able to see all of the product, the clear stopper can be removed if not required.

These are our strongest and most popular display stands, available with two top shelf back options, The shelf space dimensions are. 472mm is the actual shelf length inside the right and left supports, each shelf is 55mm deep behind the MDF or ARYLIC front panel, with 150mm height to the above shelf.

Can you paint the MDF Stands
Yes you can please read
When you paint them you are adding more material to the surface of the MDF. Increasing the thickness and this will stop the stands from being assembled.
The easy solution is to assemble the stand and then either with a pencil mark the areas where the parts slide together and paint to this line.
Spray painting the stands is a good option also whilst they are built, as this stop paint getting into the slots.
We have had lovely results using " Furniture's Touch by Rust-oleum " in a spray can
